About this Privacy Policy
We know how important it is for you to understand how we use your personal information. This Privacy Policy sets out how and why WorkshopJAX, Inc (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collect, store, process, and share your personal information. We strive to be transparent with you about what we do with your personal information.
This Privacy Policy covers our U.S. store, and U.S. online experiences (including our websites and mobile apps where you may interact with us. This Privacy Policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use your personal information.
1. What we collect
The site collects the information it gets when it gets the data request from your browser. This may include your location or what your VPN says is your location. It may also include your browser type, the better to send stuff your browser knows how to use. Most connections also supply the referring page and how it brought you here.
The site tracks your clicks around the pages so we can tell what you looked at and what you didn't find that we hoped you would. The site gives you cookies and follows the crumbs. Not tasty. Not fattening.
Since most of the site code is from the helpful GoDaddy tool, we don't really know what the site does with the data.
The site has pages which request info from you so we can put you on our contact list. You aren't required to give any information. If you don't give contact info, we don't contact you. We don't sell or give that away.
The site has pages where you can make reservations to use our stuff, or contact us for using the rooms. If you aren't going to be in Jacksonville, Florida to use the stuff, please don't reserve it.
Please don't give us any information about anyone under 18 years old, whether it is yourself or your child or anyone else. WorkshopJax is intended to serve adults in Jacksonville. If you visit us and you are under 18 we are going to pile a ton of permission paperwork on you to use our stuff.
2. How we support privacy laws
You can deny cookies and you can still lurk around the site.
You can tell your browser not to give our site your info. That might mess up the info exchange that makes the site look right or do what you expect.
You don't have to fill out any forms or make appointments or reservations. We will collect payment info from you when you want to use or buy our stuff at our physical location. Some of that gets stored, like if you use Zelle, our bank will remember that you paid us.
When you want us to forget you, we will do our best.
The bank will still remember you. Maybe someday the banks will be able to change the records to say "anonymouscustomer428356DC34" had a transaction instead of a name.
We need to save information about transactions with us for our legal protection. That is within the law.
When you want to check what info we have on you, just ask. Of course, you will have to tell us where to send it.
If you think the information is incorrect, we will be happy to correct it.
Welcome! What klnd of customer will you want to be? I'm considering "Guest" and "Member". There will be different kinds of members, with a variety of discounts.
Use the conversation button in the corner to tells us what you think.
